project: Home & Kitchen Renovation, Riverdale

design objectives: The owners of this house played an integral part in both design and execution of this renovation of a 1970's detached home. The house was originally constructed with a typical side hall plan with several small rooms on the ground floor but had a major structural deficiency that needed addressing along with aluminium wiring that needed replacement. The clients desire was to open up the ground floor and give the house a harmonious, modern look that spoke to their lifestyle. The client took on the responsibility of general contractor and requested objects + spaces to execute most of the renovation work including structural and mechanical work and much of the finishes which included all the millwork in the entrance, kitchen and bathroom.

materials: walnut, aluminium & sandblasted glass, painted mdf, .stainless steel.
